Choose Eleos as your Global Compliance Partner for Market Success

Single solution. Global reach.

Why Green Compliance Matters More Than Ever

Environmental and substance-based regulations are expanding across every major industrial region: the European Union aggressively enforces RoHS, REACH, and WEEE; China, India, South Korea, and California have introduced their own versions; ESG frameworks and customer sustainability requirements increasingly make environmental compliance a competitive advantage

Green compliance is not just about avoiding penalties. It can open doors to B2B procurement deals, government contracts, and environmentally-conscious consumer markets. It can also make your product roadmap more resilient as regulations evolve.

Ensuring compliance with the Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) Directive requires more than a simple checklist — it demands a precise understanding of material composition, documentation standards, supplier risk, and evolving global regulations.

Single solution. Global reach.

Lab Testing Coordination

RoHS compliance isn't limited to Europe. Many countries, including China, Vietnam, India, Taiwan, UAE, and Korea, have implemented their own hazardous substance restrictions with unique technical and labeling requirements. Although Eleos are not an accredited lab, we can introduce you to trusted partners who can help you meet both EU RoHS (2011/65/EU) and non-EU RoHS-equivalent regulations, ensuring your products are accepted across diverse global markets.

We coordinate testing through ISO/IEC 17025-accredited laboratories using internationally recognized methods such as XRF screening, wet chemistry (ICP-OES), and GC-MS for phthalates, aligned with the IEC 62321 standard series. Whether for a single-market declaration or a multi-region launch, we help you build a defensible technical file based on high-integrity lab data.

  • Multi-region test strategies (EU + China RoHS + others)

  • Homogeneous material sampling plans

  • Accredited lab coordination & logistics

  • Clear test summaries with regulatory interpretation

  • Labeling and marking review

Multi-Market Compliance Architecture

We help you go global with a single compliance backbone, reducing redundancy while ensuring each destination market’s rules are properly addressed: from CE marking in the EU to SJ/T 11364 compliance in China and BIS E-Waste rules in India. Managing these diverse regulations individually can lead to duplicated efforts, inflated lab costs, and inconsistent compliance files.

At Eleos, we design a unified compliance architecture that maps your products against all relevant RoHS-type regulations and builds a consolidated strategy to cover them simultaneously. This includes:

  • Identifying regulatory overlaps and divergences between markets

  • Reusing technical files and test reports where legally acceptable

  • Coordinating multi-lab testing workflows to generate globally valid data

  • Creating a modular DoC structure that aligns with each region's legal expectations

Anticipate risk. Adapt early

Regulatory Change Monitoring

Green compliance is no longer a one-time effort, it’s an ongoing race against evolving legislation. Around the world, new RoHS-style directives, expanded substance lists, and stricter documentation requirements are reshaping the regulatory landscape. Without timely updates, manufacturers risk product seizures, denied certifications, and delayed market entry, often requiring urgent redesigns at high cost.

At Eleos, we provide ongoing regulatory intelligence to ensure you stay ahead of these shifts. Our team tracks proposed changes, draft regulations, exemption expirations, and new labeling requirements, mapping them directly to your product portfolio. Whether you're preparing a new launch or maintaining existing approvals, we help you adapt early and avoid compliance disruption.

  • Early alerts on upcoming regulations (e.g. Vietnam RoHS CoC – Jan 2026)

  • Exemption expiry tracking (e.g. EU lead exemptions phasing out)

  • Technical file updates aligned with current standards (e.g. IEC 63000)

  • Full access to up-to-date RoHS regulatory intelligence on Eleos IntelHub

Integrated Green, EMC and RF Strategy

Product compliance doesn’t happen in silos. A successful global launch requires that environmental, electrical safety, EMC, and wireless (RF) standards be addressed together, without overlap, delay, or contradiction. That’s where Eleos excels. We specialize in synchronized compliance strategy, bundling RoHS, REACH, EMC, RF Type Approval, and Safety Certification into one coordinated workflow.

This approach minimizes duplicate documentation by aligning testing and labeling for all directives, and accelerates time-to-market through parallel approval processes.

This integration is especially critical for connected devices, IoT products, battery-powered equipment, or consumer electronics, where wireless approvals, environmental limits, and electrical safety all converge. With Eleos, your product enters the market faster, cleaner, and fully defensible from every regulatory angle.

FAQs

Here are quick answers to help you understand how Eleos can support your compliance journey.

Can Eleos handle the entire process?
Eleos are not an accredited test laboratory and our clients usually come to us having completed their FCC / CE and Safety testing already; however, if this is not the case we are happy to recommend our partner labs and work alongside to support this process. Beyond CE/FCC we manage the full process for international certifications, from documentation and testing coordination to submission and follow-up with local authorities. You get a single point of contact and full visibility throughout.
Do I always need to supply product samples?
Over 80% of approvals can be sought based on documentation only basis. Where local testing is compulsory samples will be required however Eleos can negotiate with local test laboratories on your behalf to keep sample requirements to a minimum and if your product launch schedule permits and testing is non-destructive, samples can be reused for multiple submissions.
I don’t have a local office in the country I want to get certified. Is that a problem?
Aside from a few exceptions where approval must be issued to the local importer, this is not an issue. Eleos has a global network of trusted local representatives enabling us to offer local holder solutions whenever required.
Do I need to manage communication with the certification body?
No — Eleos’ team of multi-lingual project managers will handle all communications on your behalf, ensuring accurate submissions, quick responses and efficient issue resolution with local authorities or certification bodies.
What happens if the regulations change?
Eleos actively monitors regulatory changes and notifies clients of anything that could affect ongoing or future certifications. You can also subscribe to our newsletter for continuous updates.
What happens if I skip certification?
Selling or importing uncertified products can lead to customs seizure, fines and enforced product recall situations. Eleos will help you to ensure that you meet all regulatory requirements before launch.
